Merge videos

In this tutorial you'll learn how to merge two or more videos using Video Editor tracks.

Create a new project

First, you need to create a new project using either the Console or from the Video Editor dashboard. See the overview article for more details.

Add clips to track

Once you are in the Video Editor project, search for a video in the upper right area using a text search or narrow down the results using category or tag filter. Below is an example of text filter "Lake" in a "Life" category. These clips will be used to produce the final video.

Enable the magnet button above the tracks. This will help sticking the clips to the beginning of the track and to each other.

Also, zoom out a bit if the first clip is large, to see where it ends after it will be dropped on the track. Then, drag and drop the clips to the video track:

You should now have two clips next to each other. You can press Play/Pause button to see how the final video will look like.

Render video

If you are fine with the result, you can now render the video and give it a name of your choice.

You will see a confirmation of the rendering in the lower right border of the screen:

Once the video has been rendered, it will show up in the media list:
